Not forgetting those on farms etc.  Cows can't be not milked just because its Christmas.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Had to go in this morning to log on and press a button!

Pretty small beer compared to people who are saving lives over the holiday though.

Got a free day yesterday, and really enjoyed it. Today, Sunday and NY day on-call. But I had Tues & Wed as AL and have Mon-Wed booked as AL next week, so I'm getting some days off to be with the kids  :)

My thoughts are with all those who have been working over the holidays.

It's really rather nice to retired.
My lasting memory is of the complaint made by a patient's relative. I had been dashing around like a blue-a**ed  fly and, being rather hungry, grabbed some of the abundant Quality Street on offer.

The complaint was that I had 'a mouth full of sweets' on Christmas Day.
Sorry madam, you would have waited another haf-hour if I'd had a proper meal.

First time since 2003 I haven't worked xmas day this year ;D  I think serving alcohol counts as an essential service, or possibly pharmacist ;)
