Something weird happened today.

The Campag bits (cassette & chain) I ordered arrived from Wiggle (best price by far, in their sale) - in a box which was the right size!

I feel cheated. Where's the free air Wiggle used to send?

Took delivery of a 105 chainset (now my drivetrain will match, hooray!) and a Garmin Edge 500. I'm justifying the spending to myself on the basis that the total's roughly the same as the credit balance I've just had back from the gas/electricity suppliers at my old house...

Also ordered a Topeak Tribag thingy to hold snacks on my bike in a place I can get to them easily. I like snacks.

I've just stocked up on a few chains and cassettes. Just in time too, I'd got no chains left and wanted to change a cassette :)

Ok I'll bite - what cycling use is that destined for? (Betting on something to do with a certain electronic three wheeler)

Exactly.  The charger (5A @60V) is a brick with a substantial scrap aluminium value, and an unreasonably noisy cheapo fan that does a passable impression of a poorly maintained early noughties HP Proliant without the thermal management utility running.  Not the sort of thing you want to share a room with for the up-to-5-hours it can take to fully charge the battery.

I was halfway through replacing it with a better, quieter 60mm fan, when I realised that it wasn't actually the same size.

A Belgian cycling shirt.
I went for "bodyfit" and, much to my surprise, "Large" is a bit too big.
ICBA sending it back to get a smaller size.

A new frame. A new headset. A new chain. A new bottom bracket. Bloody hell that means I'll have to build it up myself.

Garmin Edge Touring, my first venture into cycling GPS.

Justified by my birthday tomorrow, a soberingly large round number.
