North Face jacket reduced by 50% at Blacks in Oxford, I know it isn't a cycle jacket but the flaps on the pocket flaps are in the right direction for a bent and the main zip is double storm flapped, first dry rides on a beny for absolutely yonks.

Myself, my 2 new pixeo rear lights arrived.

Got home to find my son has N+1 parked in the hall. He bought it from a bike recycling scheme in Cheddar. Frame is a BSA Shadow, I have no idea what that is! He says he loves it already though  Saddle needs to go up a fair bit. I tried to get on it but frame much to big for me so I won't get a test ride  :(

Frame looks too big for me. How tall is he? It would make a good fixed-wheel.

New tyres for the audax bike (Duranos)

Latest candidate for 26"-tandem-holy-grail tyres (Marathon Supremes).  Now wondering whether to risk fitting them for a 200 on Saturday, or try them locally first...

Computer for Emily's bike (I tried to convince her she needed a GPS)

New cassette for the tandem (not actually needed yet, but saw it at a good price, and I've got a few concerns about how long it will remain easy to get nice 9 speed components given the fairly rapid switch of MTBs to 10 speed stuff).
Half term's when the traffic becomes mysteriously less bad for a week.

A chainring and a front mech.  I hope this guarantees that I will now find the front mech which is somewhere in the house (but at three quid it may be worth a punt anyway!).

A JTek 8-speed, canned-gear friendly bar-end shifter ... £80 quid  :o

Heart-stopping cost aside, it does mean that I can move my Alfine wheelset onto the Genesis and keep the shallow-drop bars which I happen to find extremely comfortable. Also means that I'll likely be carpet-bombing the classifieds with stuff that I take off my old Marin that is surplus to requirements - need to make room for the arrival of Pugsley in September/October ;)

I ordered a Deda Dog Fang from Wiggle.
Occasionally the chain drops when I change down onto the small ring. The mechanic at the LBS says that the stops are properly set and it's one of the drawbacks of a compact. He recommended a chain catcher.
He was disappointed that I went for the Dog Fang; he wanted me to get a blingy aluminium chain catcher "available in a variety of colours".
My argument that it was £8 v. £30 didn't cut any ice...................

Some A530 touring pedals currently in the post from Northern Ireland so that I can ride in normal shoes sometimes, and also have a bigger pedal area to try and relieve the hot-foot I've started to develop on longer rides.

Also some square taper crank bolts as the current ones on my tourer are going a bit orange

Back in early May I bought a Kryptonite mini U lock with cable for a good price on Ebay.   It never arrived..... as the dealer had consistently good feedback I assumed it had been stolen from the post room at work*.

It turned up today... all paperwork for the purchase date enclosed  ???

* I've lost several items this way, but as I'm not supposed to have stuff delivered to work can't complain about it.  I now need to get a train in my lunch break to get to the out of town post office depot as well   >:(

Gear cables (inner and outer) for OrangeGina's Alfine-isation - of the shopping list I took to the LBS, these were the only bits I came away with.

The Alfine anti-turn washers are on back-order until the end of July(!) so the conversion will be going precisely nowhere unless I can source some sooner. The one possible up-side to this is that my orange bar tape will arrive early next week ;D
