Two Down , Eleven to Go
« on: 21 February, 2009, 09:07:36 am »
I was in my local Sainsbury's latish  yesterday evening and I notice their 'Bakers Dozen'.
Yes it's a pack if 13 doughnuts , ring variety without jam. Usual price £1 , knocked down to 49p. How could I resist , I am only human after all , and a cyclist to boot.
So now I face a day at least of doughnut eating. I may have to stand at the end of the road and offer the last few to passing cyclists.

An nescis, mi fili, quantilla prudentia mundus regatur?

You better get out on your bike, I really have to do this ride today as I eat two boxes of chocolate pretty much on my own yesterday.

Oh woolly, don't. They're so evil. Send them to me and I'll dispose of them safely for you.

I tried a bit of a Rolo doughnut - but it was really plasticky and tasteless? Maybe I just got a duff one.

I was in Tescos in Slough today. :hand: Don't ask!

But I saw they sold those legendary Krispy Kreme donuts for illiterate people.

They looked so deeply unappetising I wouldn't even bother trying one. :P
Getting there...
