Um ... I think del's "ETA" was meant as "Edited To Add", rather than "Estimated time of arrival" ;)

I read del's post as asking WHERE rather than WHEN :)

We were in the Fox and Hounds from noon until about 1pm. You was in a different pub!  It is a super day. More of the same please!

Just make it somewhere I can almost get to but not quite reach or which has a similar name or shares a road with another pub I can mistakenly wait at.   ::-)

I suggested on other communication medium to OD The Cricketers at Danbury may be a suitable location for Del friendliness without being too unkind to Tomsk, but if Tomsk is not MEMWNS'ing it this week we could possibly go even further South for Del.
Alternatives to The Cricketers, or settle for that?

I'm quite keen to do the PoW anyway - haven't been there for a while.

PoW sounds good. I may only stay for a pint as I have an early start tomorrow.

How about this for an almost direct route?
trainmanbri expressed a wish to join us this evening and would also not want to be too late back to Witham.  I suggested a 19:45 departure from the J&J if that fits with everyone's domestic commitments.

I just looked at your original and was going to suggest this very re-routing (specifically in order to go up Hagg Hill :) )

Brace yourself ...

Prepare to be shocked ...

This will be hard to take ...

Are you brave enough ...?

I believe I am right in saying that all four riders who took part in last night's excursion were back in Witham on the same day they set off - i.e. Wednesday.  How often does that happen?

Did Tomsk get lost then?  ;D
