I am struggling to make tomorrow due to work - but will try and get there if possible, given it's a very easterly location!
Hopefully see you there

How does
RT ?
become
The Sun at Feering.
???

I assumed because no response to RT that everyone preferred pubs without beer  :P

RT has Greene Ming and one other normally.

I am happy with either.

Does that mean you are coming out or that you haven't thought of an excuse not to yet ?

I haven't got a good enough excuse yet and I really do need to get some road miles in to the legs before the 3Rs route check on Saturday.

Oh no, buggy’s least favourite pub!  Rubbish draught beer selection, reliance on bottled beer!  It’ll be fine mate, have we ever let you down?  ;D

The RT in Kelvedon (or is it Feering there?) get my vote.

The Sun has more beers, but not better ones  :'(

The Cock at HBO then, ok? With an extra loop here and there, I could manage 20:00 no problem - the novelty!

Thank you

It’s about the  same distance for Nick, but a nicer route. Bit of a slog for JellyLegs …

I would be the closest by far, except for the extra 200k I am doing on the way.  I am leaving at 9am so should be with you around 8pm, give or take.

Well that didn’t go quite to plan.  Lesson for the day : when you wake up and draw the curtains, dress based on what you see, not what that highly inaccurate new fangled BBC weather app says, that way you won’t end up soaked to the skin and cold after 60k.  ::-) Dry, light cloud, 19c, moderate breeze my eye!  When you can feel rivulets of water running round your nether regions, you know it is time to route directly for home.  You also know the sun will be shining by the time you reach your front door. ;D

See the western contingent in HBO tonight if I have dried out.

I might join you at HBO tonight for a couple of pints if that’s okay.

The village boundary is the river, so RT is in Kelvedon, Sun is in Feering. Most will know what you mean if you guess wrong though.

I should be out tonight, and planning to do the helpers ride Saturday.

I won't make it tonight - have about a week's worth of work to do by the end of today.

The Cock is shut. We have relocated to the Duke’s Head, about 200m down the hill to the east. Nice place and decent beer  :)

An early bid for the Swan at Little Totham has been submitted for the EER group this Wednesday evening.

The Swan LT is ok by me, unless there is a demand for a Western venue.

The forecast for tomorrow evening is, erm ... a bit different to last week. Windy all day and rain from 19:00. I see it as a chance to give the winter waterproofs a thorough test, but would be up for a nearer, western venue if anyone is so inclined.

Sorry - can’t help you out with a nearer location to get soaked as not around tomorrow night!

Me neither. I was at a work event yesterday and I got to bed very early this morning with quite a lot of free booze onboard. I think I need an early night tonight.

What about postponing 24 hours ?  The weather looks a lot less interesting tomorrow evening.
