Two forumites having fun and a friend from another forum

What sort of bar bag is that on the machine next to Butterfly?

Information has come from the owner:

Quote
it came from an ebay shop called m.l.field and it cost a princely £3.25 plus £1.75 p&p. It affixes to handlebars or saddle using velcro. It's so useful I bought a back-up one for when this one wears out.

On top of it in the photo is a foldy map holder attached to the bike cables by more velcro, with the route sheet pinned on top using the regulation Audax rusty rattly bulldog clip.

That's remarkably cheap. Decathlon does something similar (capacity 2.5 litres) for £11.

The seller currently has no items for sale.  :(

Me at the end of the penultimate pave section, taking my bike to its spiritual home on the Paris-Roubaix

I was rather pleased that the bike will accept 28mm tyres (though I rode on one 25mm, one 28mm), and came through unscathed other than some paint rubbing off the plastic bottle cages where the bottles were shaken constantly on the 32 sections of cobbles - but they stayed in, unlike those of many other riders.

And again on the banking on the victory lap of the velodrome with a couple of clubmates.

So are these rumours I hear of people putting SPD cleats into the soles of Crocs true then?  ???
I like the way you've got front panniers to cunningly counterbalance the Hamax!
