4) You get to stroll into to garden of the Neighbour-who-hates-your-humans, puke violently at the feet of said neighbour, and then sit there watching the ensuing recriminations, apologies and cleaning efforts with a look of innocent confusion on your face.  ::-)

Yes, he only hears the food dishes, and that is if he isn't asleep. He's 16 now.

(I have a friend with one cat who's scared of the hoover in the usual manner, and one who doesn't mind the hoover, but exhibits a similar reaction to 80s power ballads.)
