Belgian Brompton Beer Boucle.
« on: 07 June, 2010, 11:54:12 am »
Just an idea - Meet up in London am one Saturday - Eurostar to Gent packing Brommies, mooch about for a bit, get Moules frites Mosselen-friet and a few beers for lunch, mount up and ride to Brugge (approx 30-40 Km), stopping off to quaff the odd cold one on the way, check in to a cheapish hotel on the edge of town then have an evening in Brugge, short ride on the sunday morning culminating in a moules frites Mosselen-friet lunch with a couple of swift ones, get Eurostar back to London.

Date to be fixed but when I'm off at the weekend and before the rugby season starts.

Smart casual attire required - no lycra!

Who's in?

Bobb you're in - we will need a translator!

I'd love to come along, but...

a. I don't own a Brommie

and

b. I'm skint  :'(

If it wasn't for those major issues I'd be there!

Steady on there old chap . . .

There are one or two of us on here who actually have more sense than money don't own the fabled Brommie.

. . . other folding bicycles are available.

Actually I would luurve to do this - with a rain check on the moules -  but I suspect Mrs Torslanda (she of the horned helmet and heavy metal breastplate) would object to me swanning off on a piss up extended short tour.

You can call them W T F you like! I won't be eating them. There are whole galaxies of things I would eat rather than that.

Anyroad - I thought it was Brussells, not Rome ;)

Please don't change this on my account but I can't make that weekend.

I will already be in Limoges on annual leave.
