How do I load .crs files to a Garmin Etrex

Going on a tour next week. I've been sent the routes as a series of .crs files.
My Garmin is an Etrex cx.
Does anyone know how I convert these files into .gpx files or whether there is any other solution, please?

Excuse my ignorance - where does a CRS file come from. Is it the output from mapping software?

Its a course file from Garmin Training Center. Though I think the more recent versions of Training Center are using TCX files instead of CRS files.
You could import it into Training Center, but I think it only has the option of exporting in TCX format, which won't help much.

GPSBabel should work for converting, this page seems to imply it does (as well as TCX files): Garmin Training Center (.tcx) (gtrnctr)
Though I've never tried it myself.

GTC looks like it can export courses as GPX, if you want to email the CRS file to me I'll have a go.

Ah, I see that was added in a fairly recent version of GTC and I hadn't bothered to update, because I hardly ever use it.

The CRS file is for Garmin fitness devices such as the forrunner and 705.
