I don't mind ITV putting utter shite on TV because let's be honest it's all they have ever done, but when our licence fee goes towards paying the Beeb to compete with this...  >:(

Some Radio4 show did a sketch spoofing this.

[fx: Received pronunciation]
"Good evening.  My name is Anthony.
And my name is Declan.
Welcome to I am a well-known radio presenter, permit me to depart."
[/fx]

The above was more entertaining than this type of 'reality' TV has ever been.

;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

Gillian McKeith has a phobia about spiders and wrigglies. She is constantly shrieking.

WHY ON EARTH is she doing the programme? Seriously?

Gillian McKeith is in the jungle?

Excellent.  Electrified perimeter fence, armed guards and abandon her there.
Getting there...

I'm going to have to start watching this purely so I can watch Gillian McKeith's trials by ordeal live*

I wish it was a witch trial instead. She's guilty. BURN HER!

*and to catch a glimpse of the aforementioned norgs(norks?) I remember Solomon from X Factor, looking pretty, singing well, but her speech could use some work.

Damn. Now I actually have a reason for tuning in to that brain-scrambling vomit-inducing waste of televisual broadcast bandwidth.

Go on, there's no shame in it, you know you want to!

Just wait until those faries over on the Politics and Big Issues board realise this is where the real intellectuals hang out!

I've had to go and have a look at ITV catch-up.  ;)  You knew it wasn't going to go well in the trial for GMcK, when she freaked out with a fly landing on her before anything had happened...  ;D

"It's just leaves, Gillian," said someone as she shrieked at a rustling beside her. Telly gold.

Never watched it and don't intend to start now!

Discussion in the staff room today though... apparently one of the women has taken her own brand of swimwear and the camera crews are being told not to show them as the prduct is not officially sanctioned ( for that read haven't paid enough)
