Another burning question:

Which of the Iceland mums in the advert do you like the best?  I shall watch the commercial breaks carefully tonight and report back tomorrow.

Bottom middle.
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

Getting Z list celebs to hold live animals and insects in their mouths really isn't entertainment. I'm actually going to write to complain.

There was a shoot out between Kayla and Alison.

I was rooting for Kayla, but have absolutely no justification for that.

Wouldn't it be easier to just not watch crap in the first place?

It's not that it's crap, it's normally entertaining crap. It's just having people put live animals in their mouths is too close to animal cruelty for public entertainment. If you're not going to eat or kill an animal, why they the hell would you put it in your mouth while it's still alive.

Still, isn't not engaging an option?  If you e-mail them, they'll just be chuffed they've got another fan.

It's over for another year.  We watched the coming out show last night and realised that was it.  What are we to do?

Gently holding an animal in your mouth is not as bad as stepping on it - thus injuring or inhumanely killing it - which has been the norm for IACGMOOH since the start.  (Usually in each task there is a thick carpet of insects or other animals that they can't helping tredding on).

I was forced to sit through this when visiting a friend. It would seem that not-ever-a-doctor-in-any-sense-of-the-word McKeith was needed on the show. Her expertise in turd examination fitted nicely with the presence of Havers.

This year's show has promise.  I was a bit disappointed to note that Freddie Starr was really quite normal (so far).

Sadly, Ant and Dec don't get physically trodden on.  The amount of airtime they take up, the programme is effectively the Ant and Dec Show.

Surely Freddie Star must be the favourite? Eating a few spiders and mealworms should be a walk in the park after eating a hamster.

They're scraping the barrel more than ever this year! Oh well, have to see how it pans out. Are there going to be any additional campers coming in? They at least need some on standby - some of the contestents are so old we might have our first ever death in the jungle!

And which Z-lister will be the first to go?  My virtual money is on Stephanie Powers.

The producers miss a trick year after year, they should fix it so Ant and Dec have to do some trials. Although I wouldn't mind betting there is something in their contracts to preclude it.

Looks like typical scrapeage to me.

The advert for the show said "...new celebrities and none of them have any idea what's in store for them.."

Hmm..let me guess:

- Parachuting into camp?
- Eating Kangaroo knackers?
- Covered in buckets of Cockroaches?
- Coffin full of Rats?
- Drinking liquified fish smoothies?
- Trapped in a net whilst out on a task
- Female model has waterfall shower in skimpy bikini?

Just a wild guess.

Maybe they should force them to eat Iceland party snacks.
