The couple asked McVitie's Cake Company to create a chocolate biscuit cake for the reception at Buckingham Palace.
The chocolate biscuit cake is made from a Royal Family recipe and was specially requested by Prince William.

Wonderful interview on the telly last night with the couple who run the Spar store in Buclebury. The lady flew back to India to buy a special sari for the wedding.

Is this the couple ?  I think I recognise them from the interview.

It's just me. I've been reading YACF for far too long, and I see innuendo in everything. I am beyond hope.
But should someone not have told them?

Could be - I go into Peach's Stores quite frequently because it's near my parents' house.  It's actually in Upper Bucklebury; Bucklebury village itself (two miles away) has a church, a farm park and only a handful of houses, although the name is also used for the whole parish.

I reckon William needs to cultivate a decent RAF moustache to disguise his vanishing hair.  When he leaves the services he can go for the full Edward VII look.

File:Eduard VII.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He should also be King Arthur.  Williams are a funny bunch; the first one was a French bastard, the second was so popular that the nobles arranged for him to have a little "accident", the third was a Dutch import to get rid of someone even worse, and the fourth spawned David Cameron through his mistress  :hand:

They'll have baldness sorted out medically within the next decade or so, be it drugs, or just better hair transplants. The question is, would the public allow him to do it.

Is the recently restored sympathy for the monarchy all down to the feel good factor coming off the back of the King's Speech?  In 60 years time, our descendants will probably be watching a feel good movie called the King's combover.

I wonder if Harry got pissed, made a tit of himself and ended up shagging Camilla or something?

Or that the portrayals of Edward (Prince of Wales/VIII/Duke of Windsor) in The King's Speech and Any Human Heart made the rest of them look like quite normal people.

According to the BBC

Some royal wedding guests said they were feeling a little jaded today.

Not Pippa?  He's old enough to be her father.

I think if Harry can turn up with his hair looking like he's been dragged thru a hedge backwards, then Will should get a No. 1 all over.

Jeez these events make you do strange things , don't they.
I have just spent 10 mins looking through a back catalogue of Beatrice's old hats !
Never thought that would happen.
Anyway I'm glad I got my Royal Wedding Tribute ride in yesterday , it's a bit blowy out there today.

Nope, I see it too. I particularly like the 'spray' on the top!

Edit - am I the only one who doesn't think the sister looks particularly attractive?
