Like the colour scheme but isn't the paris-brest bit rather small?  Will anyone seeing the short know what it signifies?  Or is the intention that the shirts will be understood only by fellow audaxers, whio will pay due homage to the wearer?  A bit like a masonic handshake in Lycra.  I'd love to have the dates on too - one of the failings of the LEL shirt, in my view.

Sorry - I know how irritating it is to have everyone chipping in with suggestions  :-[

I'm promised it'll be larger on the actual jersey.

The date is there, front and rear, just in tiny writing :)

The blue appears to be a shade more pastel than I would have expected. Is that a result of my computer or was a sky blue what you were aiming for?

Ditto.

It really needs to be the darker blue of the Union Flag (and copied on the St Andrew's one), otherwise we'll all look French  :o

I thought it was supposed to be french? I liked that. I also like that ParisBrestParis 2011 is there as a note rather than a SHOUT. I struggle to wear my LEL jersey as it shouts too much (same goes for the Mille one).

there is a G missing on each sleeve though.

People may think it's Blackpool tower as it's says UK ?

Ideal for the Paris-Blackpool-Paris ride then  :)

Great idea, when are you planning on running cycling it?

I'm impressed, I actually like it - I normally can't stand any of these jerseys produced for rides etc. the one exception being the mille cymru for the other worldly lord of the rings tagline :D

Oh, and in terms of zip options - I'm another one that prefers a full zip or at least 3/4 but I gather that most options are normally available from the decent kit supliers.

I have a picture for every occasion.

If the shirt is available for the 3 Coasts it will be a good photo opportunity.

It might cause some confusion, as those are the Luxemburg national champion's colours, redolent of the boyishly handsome Schleck brothers.

or for those with long memories,Charly Gaul.

Very much like the design along with the lighter blue. Reminds me of the Kraftwerk Tour de France jersey. Unlike last time, I think the AUK one knocks the socks off the official PBP one.

I just gave Pam a call. She'll chivvy them along this afternoon.

Following feedback on here and elsewhere, the jerseys will be available with both 3/4 length and full-length zips.
