Well, it's all done. Quite pleased with my first attempt at a rim transplant. My £5 Tesco electric screwdriver was great as a nipple driver, saved a lot of time. I think the tension overall is slightly lower than my reference wheel, but definitely higher than the original wheel was. I probably spent half an hour trueing and centering, and I'm getting better at this now.

Not really, when you look at all the other stuff he has prematurely worn out / knackered / sheared-in-half ... There is only one Manotea.

I'm not sure what Mattc is getting at. Probably best not to mention snapping a 4 month old SRAM PC!N chain whilst route checking the Willy Warmer on Saturday.
Manotea, have you considered route checking by pogo stick or something? Given the frame last autumn as well, it might be safer...
