Health and safety

Found this about  health and  safety nonsense http://www.aerialsandtv.com/healthandsafetybollocks.html interesting  amusing and  informative.
The  APT/Pendilino example is  a  good  one  plus Frank Duckworth's  logarithmic risk analysis - got me thinking  about the  way  we  look at  risk.
- It's the same sort  of  thing  we  get with  headlines 'Drug xxx gives  a  2x Cancer  risk' (when the  actual risk of  dying  from said  cancer is very  low)

And  lots of  useful stuff if you need a new tv aerial too........

Actually (notice to mods) this post/thread might be better in 'the pub'. (should have started when properly awake at a sensible time)
