GN: Tossco eventually turned up, so I could get out on my ride to Long Itchington. Very pleasant weather it was too.
BN: The Offchurch Greenway, was more like a Muddy-Brownway and was, very likely, where I got my puncture.
GN: It was a slowie, so I managed to get back to the outskirts of Leamington to get the train to Warwick.
GN: Chiltern Railways have kindly installed a bike pump at Leamington Station, so I could ride the last half mile home.
VBN: When I got to the station, I went to get my wallet, but I had left the pocket open on my rack pack and it had fallen out. No chance of backtracking with a flat tyre.
VGN: When I called home, a kind soul in The Itch had called my landline number to say he'd found it. Phew! I shall call in this evening to collect it and offer Ray a reward.
Update: wallet collected fully intact. Salt of the earth-type people had found it, thankfully. I am utterly relieved to have it back, not only for the money, but the thought of all the ringing around to banks, etc. filled me with dread.
