Ray: One gay beer for my gay friend, one normal beer for me because I am normal.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ray: Why didn't you wave hello to me today when I waved hello to you today?
Jimmy: I was on a very strong horse tranquilizer today; Wasn't waving hello to anybody. Except... maybe to a horse.
Ray: Huh? What are you talking about?
Jimmy: Just horseshit.
Ray: You from America?
Jimmy: Yeah. Don't hold it against me.
Ray: Well, that's for me to decide, isn't it?
Ray: [to Denise] You from America too?
Denise: No, I'm from Amsterdam.
Ray: Amsterdam! Amsterdam's just a lot of bloody prostitutes, isn't it?
Denise: Yes, that's why I came to Bruges. Been trying to get a better price for my pussy here.
Ray: Huh?
[pause]
Ray: You two are weird.

best thing Colin Farrell's done evah!

It's one of my favourite movies this year.

I especially like the scene near the end in the hotel where the two characters are discussing how the chase should continue.

Excellent film, some corking lines!  Couldn't help feel the Ray - Ken relationship was amazingly similar to Ted - Dougal :P

Bruges is the most dull place I think I have been to. My wife took me there for  a 'holiday break' earlier this year and I have to say it was so dull that coffe and cakes was a real highspot.
Endless shops selling chocolate, or lace or chocolate in lace.  Average age of people 60.

Great film - not what I expected.

Couldn't help feel the Ray - Ken relationship was amazingly similar to Ted - Dougal :P

Yes! It was sort of how
the Coen Brothers would do the movie version of Father Ted
[having a priest involved in the plot helped]

There was only one dodgy moment, and it's a very small criticism:

One of my favourite films.

Best bit was when they were discussing Midget World War and which race would dominate.

Saw this last night at Chateaux Weasel after popping over to borrow a sword.

I wasn't expecting a great deal from Colin Farrell but I absolutely loved it.  Definitely gets my nomination for best dwarf-slapping scene inna film evah.

I first saw it on a flight back from the US of A.
I think the other passengers though I was some sort of weirdo with a loud laughing fetish.

Really do not like Colin Farrell, but he's brilliant in this.
Doesn't mean I want to watch him in anything else though.

I remember it being a cracking film, but thought Rafe Feins psychotic mobster too closely mirrored Ben Kingsley's character in Sexy Beast.

Only a minor dissatisfaction.

For some reason I now 'hear' the poems of WB Years in the manner of Colin Farrell.  :o  ???

I think the big difference is that Don Logan is genuinely terrifying while Harry Waters is actually a bit of a berk - Ken isn't really scared of Harry in the way Gal is scared of Don.
