BBC Breakfast Friday the 27th (hopefully)
« on: 26 June, 2008, 08:44:57 pm »
Well if you can watch the BBC Breakfast show tomorrow, probably only the London part of the show.

As yours truly should be on it :)

I'm playing the role as the trainee and my co worker is the cycling instructor. Not really sure how long and what for but we go filmed this afternoon for the breakfast show.

Now if it is on tomorrow how does one go about it to get a copy as I do not have any way of recording it.

I can record it, and I can plug the USB drive into my box and export it.

If you turn up on a fixie, it sort of gives the game away.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Well that was the fun part of if I am (was) on a fixie so yes it was a bit hard to look like a newbie :)

Zipperhead that would be great if you could record it, my 1.2 seconds of fame, as they only recorded around 3 min or so.

Ask the BBC if you can have a copy. They've always been very accommodating in my experience.

Also, it may be on iPlayer.
It is simpler than it looks.

I've set the machine to record all 3 hours of it.

I've also found the BBC to be very helpful. Part of one episode of a radio program (Chalkface Lovesongs) was about my late sister. I emailed the producer and she sent me an mp3 of that section.

I (just about) remember Chalkface Lovesongs.  It was an excellent piece of radio.

No, what time was it (I don't really want to watch the recording of 3 hours of breakfast television!)

Assuming it lasts for at least a couple of minutes, if I watch it at 60x tonight, I'll not have to suffer more than 3 minutes worth of it  :)
