Well, that was interesting! When I said I was meeting my virtual friends at the pub, I didn't quite mean it that literally!

Still, the burger and chips were nice, and the pint.

Silly me didn't check the thread, as I was non-stop busy all day, so bombed down to The Barley Mow all keen like, only to find a load of strangers. That'll teach me!

Sorry I didn't come along, I was all set to leave when read this thread and thought oh well I better not ride all the way into Bristol if it's cancelled. Hopefully the date will suit more people for next month!

I'm afraid I can't be there this evening, due to a combination of factors:

a) pressure of work
b) no time to get hold of a lock, due to a)
c) no lights

I'll look forward to seeing if it happens on 30 August!

I'm afraid I'm out for this one. My seizuring collie has meant I am very behind getting ready for the Sem Fed and I currently have the bike I will be riding to Portsmouth to get the ferry on Friday in bits all over my lounge. I am about to attempt to teach myself indexing-fu as I have just replaced all the cables (new drop bars and STI shifters). Wish me luck!
The August one I think is going to depend on me being physically capable of getting on a bike only days after PBP. I suppose I could ride the 8 miles to Yatton and get the train to Bristol the rest of the way if I'm in a fit state to do that.

Hope those who go tonight have fun though!
