I just don't understand the attraction of a bus shelter...

When the white lines suddenly morph into rabbits going in all directions or worst some kind of paranormal creatures jumping at you, suddenly a bus shelter makes sense.

See - people normally pay good money for an experience like that... Have you guys thought about marketing this as a legal replacement for magic mushrooms?  :D

Visited the Barley Mow tonight with a non YACF cycling mate.
Great food and beer as usual.

Shall we meet there again on the 28th or does anyone want to suggest another venue ?
The Bristol Beer Factory also run the Grain Barge on Hotwells ?

Disclaimer - I have no affliliation to this company - I just like their beer !!!

EDIT .............   I like ALL beer  ;D

I'm always in favour of somewhere new but The Barley Mow was quite nice.

The Grain Barge looks rather trendier, busier, possibly rather crowded (though probably not on a Tuesday night) and usually has an array of bikes chained to the railings outside. Observations rather than dis/recommendations. The only thing I'd say about it personally is that I'll have to ride home up Jacobs Wells Road rather than Park St... Then again, I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to make the next one (though August should be no problem).

I'm liking the previous pub because I've been there and I'll be cycling this time.
It is simpler than it looks.

It would be good if I'm not the only one there in lycra!
I will be more confidant about riding the 23 miles home pissed next time :)

Actually, who was the last one sat in the pub drinking when the others were ready to leave? Oh, never mind about that!

I will try to not forget my lights this time though lycra for riding 2 miles may be over the top!

Are we concluding that we meet at the same pub then? I'll leave lycra, lights and other fetishes to those who wish to partake. I'll just bring all my locks this time.

I am having bangers and mash this time though. It looked lovely.

Near enough the longest day of the year, so you might get away without lights. Not that I'd recommend it though. All your locks? It seems pretty safe there - no one nicked my pump!

I might actually be a little bit late next Tuesday. So long as people are not planning to disappear at 8pm then this probably won't matter :)
