At least, I think it was Yao.
Last weekend, Butterfly & I were discussing imported childrens TV serials - The Flashing Blade, White Horses, Aeronauts (which she'd never heard of), Robinson Crusoe, Singing Ringing Tree etc.
I half-remember a programme about an African kid, which I think was originally French. I think he and the programme were called Yao, but I can't find any reference to it.
Tbh, I couldn't really follow the story, so I suspect I was very young when it was on, so I could be wrong about this.
Anyone else remember?
