YACF branded versions of the Gonzo/ACF bottles would be fine with me.

Are we going to have a fight poll thread to argue about debate the graphics?  :demon:
What's this bottom line for anyway?

I'd be interested in getting my hands on a couple of large ones (and the bidons *rimshot*).

Have emailed Zyro and Zefal, shall work out costs when I get a response.

I will also request samples from the previous producers to see the quality etc.

OK, so camelbaks, not available as private label in this country, although blank ones are available, for printing elsewhere (which I am not keen on as 1) it's too much effing about 2) any mistakes will be taken out of the pool of available bottles.

Zefal ones are reasonable[1], per unit, for single colour, have requested 2 colour costs, along with setup costs etc.  As previously mentioned minimum order is 250 for Zefal, but I may bite the bullet (if I get enough interest) and order that number anyway, keeping some as stock.

Also awaiting some samples from the producer of previous bottles(Wildoo), wide necked, screw top ones, to assess their quality.

further details as and when I get them.

[1] FWIW the individual cost of custom Zefal bottles, with single colour is less than buying them with Zefal/SIS/whoever branding on them.

I've just had to google "bidon" to reassure myself that I know what you're all talking about.  :-[

Same here, I might buy if I knew what the bloody hell I was buying.

Thats a point.  Some of my freebie bottles (the Tour Ride ones from last year) are simply white bottles with big stickers wrapped around.

One which I actually paid for (a Zefal one) is actually far worse than any of the freebies.

Anyway, good bad or indifferent I'll be glad to buy at least one YACF bottle proudly to display on my new stem-mounted bottle cage up front.

I'd go for a couple of 750ml wide mouth frogs, sorry, bottles.

I'd buy two.

I used two zefal magnums (the absolutely mahoosive ones) on PBP and I was very happy with them

Received 2 samples from Wildoo this morning, the 750ml and the 1000ml one.  The 1000ml is possibly too big to fit a cage (to be fair the guy at Wildoo did warn me) but the 750ml looks very similar to the Zefal one, without the washer which seems to always get lost in the bottom of the dishwasher.  The two samples are now being leak tested, and will get a further post-dishwasher test on Thursday night.

So I am now thinking the choice will be Zefal or Wildoo.  Both 750ml ones.  I am just emailing the guy now for a quote.

Spooky! I was just talking to CrinklyUncle about this last night.

those that have hands on the samples have had postive things to say about them.

I just need to find out if they can do a mixed batch now, or if it is a fixed number of the same type (ideally I would like to order a number of 1000ml and a larger number of 750ml ones).

Oh and get the artwork sorted.

Email sent, the design template is here:

I thought of having the logo on the main body(complete with the URL underneath), with "The home of erudite and smutty cycling" around the top.

thoughts?

I think the logo alone on the main panel and URL around the top band would be better.  Having the motto too is a tiny bit knobby.

2 against, one for, one on the fence.

Thinking about it maybe the URL round the neck and the logo on the body might be the best bet.  It would suit more conservative cyclists as well as the rest.

The URL is important.  And keeping the logo nice and clear would be good.
