More about knees
« on: 13 September, 2011, 08:56:36 am »
About a year ago I jogged 3-4 steps in a car park to get out of the way of a reversing vehicle.  As my right foot landed the final step I got a very sharp pain on the inner front edge of the knee near the bottom of the kneecap.  This caused me to limp for a while.

Since that time I have occaisional painful twinges, mainly when my foot isn't in the "straight ahead" position.  Cycling isn't a problem

What have I injured, and what can I do to improve things?

Get it checked properly by someone who knows. It could be an early sign of a cartiledge problem or arthritis starting to show. Even if there is nothing to be done it is better to be forwarned. If ever it swells up or becomes stiff take it seriously!
