On a similar note, a Vauxhall Victor which parked on Cleethorpes beach in the 1980s re-emerged earlier this year

Double yellows, blocking pavement, engine running, on the phone, right beside the entrance to a car park. Beyond fuddery  :thumbsup:

No photo, but if there's a massive puddle the width of the pavement, don't park your effing bike on the lamppost next to it covering the only dry spot.

I think that is not unreasonable parking. With the car to the viewers right in the wrong place, by parking at a slight angle the Mercedes has maximised drivers door access for vehicles either side.

It's basically an SUV with even worse interior space limitations but without the ride height and useful ground clearance.  I imagine they fly out of the Jag showrooms, though.
