The remains of a pack of chickpeas, cooked and curried with lentils, peas, green beans, assorted other veg and cabbage.

The rest of the above, from the freezer.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

I understand that we're being fed by M&S this evening ... my wife having just boarded a train, via the M&S, at Marylebone, bound for Warwick.    ETA 1930 ... I have instructions to switch on the oven - I've located the kitchen, now looking for the cooker instruction book  ???

Last night, celeriac, potato and smoked salmon gratin, which I've just finished off for lunch today. Yum.

Tonight, slow roast shoulder of pork with crackling, roast spuds and other roast veg, braised red cabbage and some form of brussel sprouts - I'm thinking creamed maybe....

Some Udon noodles with leeks, shitake, & some other bits & pieces, made by Mrs B.

Followed by my contribution: freshly home-made (still warm) mini apple pies & a jam tart (for me - Mrs B doesn't like jam tarts) with (shop bought) ice cream.

I'm experimenting with a spicy red cabbage and chorizo recipe I found on the interwebs, to be topped off with some pork'n'fennel ravioli.

Sossidge (or veg pie for me), mash, veg, mashed celeriac with butter'n'salt'n'pepper, and (for the cubs) yorkshire pud.  And mushroom gravy.
