What's the best one? I want to read and write to a private group of 20 or so for work.

Tweetdeck is pretty good - as a side benefit you can also access Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter from one application.

+1 for tweetdeck - my cross platform twitter app of choice.

I use Seesmic.  Mainly because it's the first one someone suggested when I asked what was less annoying than Twitter's own app.  I believe it also does FriendFace and things, too.

How do the various apps handle multiple accounts?  Say a chap needs to keep his personal and public face well separate.  Running two Twitter native widgets sorta works but sometimes gets stuck in a thrashing mess after rebooting.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I run two on Tweetdeck with little problem. One for me and one for commentweeting on the local road races (as @broomwaggon).

The official twitter app itself now supports multiple accounts on Android.
I use Seesmic Desktop but found the Android version a bit bloaty and slow on my poor mans smart phone.
