Transplanting a head onto a donor body such that the head remains alive and un-brain-damaged is within the realms of really difficult vascular surgery (I believe it's been done on monkeys, leaving the original head attached). Reconnecting a severed spinal cord, let alone connecting one to a different body, is science fiction. If you're not already quadriplegic, you would be afterwards, with a host of rejection issues. That might be worthwhile for a tiny subset of patients, but YMMV.
