I'll not be building a wheel either and Liz yes she can come and try out Jezabelle. I'll have to give her the quick once over, pump up tires etc.

You can check the bike, too.  ;)

Damn!  I was all organised and have got the bits, but a friend coming back to the UK changed her flight and I've got to pick her up from Stansted at 6pm >:(

I'll take the parts with me and hope the flight is early enough to get back to London in time.  I haven't got a jig, but should have everything else by Tuesday.

How long do you think the session will last?  If it looks like I can't get there in time for the start, I could come along later to observe and pick up some tips rather than build a wheel.

I'd like to come along for the craic, although I may not build a wheel - but I'm waiting to see if I have an evening conference with counsel.

If I come, can someone have a look at my front wheel for me?   :P  It's getting a bit 'wavy'....  :-\

What's the bike parking / security like at the proposed venue?

I will be coming to watch Aunty C putting Regulator's rim through its paces (although I imagine that if it is like mine, it will be rather thin and prone to crack due to persistent misuse).

Actually, I could do with my rear wheel being round again so I might want to tweak some nipples myself.

One thing, are we doing it in our underwear as promised?

I have three old mountain bike wheels out on the balcony, which are free to anyone if they want to practice wheel building at the class. Just looked - two rears and a front.
I live across the river from the venue, so PM me if they are any use.

I may possibly have the components of another wheel to offload if someone wants. Possibly

Bloody good. Off road, gated and 24hr guard and CCTV. Infact I once left all me bikes unlocked for a long weekend. Nobody had touched them. If you're really paranoid you can bring em into the office. If the other place works out then you can bring them inside too.

I'll be coming along, not to build, but just for the entertainment. If there's anything I can do to help you Sam, let me know.

I'm tempted as I got a front wheel that I would like to rebuild for Dirty Pia, though I have no idea of what spokes to use and how much etc ... Anyone got any pointers, it is a MTB wheel but it is not used as a MTB wheel more road/touring so therefore light and cheap.

Bloody hell, there's going to be loads of us!

I'll be arriving at Sam's office on Bertha the Beemer, on account of the fact that I'll need to get across town in under an hour during rush hour and I'm carrying jig, rim and large amounts of unwieldy STUFFTM.

Even first thing this morning it was hot in all that leather...

I threatened to come along just for the fun of it, but I've got a FoE meeting which Dez will insist I attend.

Have a nice time everyone!

Hummers, I've been told I'll be meeting you at Lymington - looking forward to hearing how it went.

Have fun everyone!
