Not even Sky's mechanics are sure how much tub cement they get through in a year. Lots and lots, though.

Rim cement? More interesting how many tubs do they get through. Let's assume they start each race day with new tubs x riders in the team x number of races x £50-£70 per tub...

The Aussie National team used to run tubs for a long time,, unless there was any visible damage or wear during the nightly inspections. No need to replace otherwise and avoids the early failures (standard bathtub failure rate curve) that a percentage of tubs will exhibit.
