HP 7600 printer problem

I've got a HP 7600 photosmart printer (several years old) which has just suddenly started printing about one LINE a minute.  One minute it was printing fine, the next not.  Has anyone any ideas what might be wrong?  (The manual is no help on this.)

I would try re-installing the drivers - and/or trying it on another PC. If network connected try a direct connection.
