Ive not been out for a film in years except with the kids. This looks like a good film though Im on the fence when it comes to climate change, it would be interesting to hear what these hippy;s have to say about it though and there looks like cake could be involved
Just a quick reminder about the Pete Postlethwaite film "The Age of Stupid" that a group of us have organized at the Inspire Centre next Thursday, on the subject of climate change. We really want this to be a welcoming and enjoyable social occasion so we've sorted for there to be a cafe run by volunteers selling snacks before the showing and a discussion after it on what we thought of the film and how we can act on climate change both as individuals and communities. We'd love you to come and details are:
Date - Thursday, April 7th 2011
Time - 7pm screening but cafe from 6pm
Cost - £3 (to cover cinema hire, licence and publicity)
Venue - The Inspire Centre, 747 Stockport Road, M19 3AR
Hope you can make it!
Thanks!
Katherine
