I think shaving is an epically bad idea since things grow back quickly and prickly etc. Waxing or epilation is the way to go. Not sure how that works on beards though. I also wouldn't wish to repeat my attempt at armpit epilation which was marginally more painful than childbirth but at least I could stop doing it when I wanted to, which was very very soon.

Hairless bits are IMO less sweaty and easier to keep clean. YMMV!

Damn, you find out my secret  - item 7 on my list of things to do when you get bored at a control!  At Thirsk, I have 63 items on that list ;0)  i do hope i get to try item no. 13!

Could it be respectfully pointed out to rider no. 13 that for the sake of the world's continuing existence, their frame plate should be mounted upside down?

I can heartily recomend Lanacane Anti Chafing Gel for friction reduction around ones hairy parts.  No painful side effects that I've been able to detect, even on the "sensitive" areas.
