So today, young Taylor Phinney launched a late, solo attack. In the closing kilometres, with the bunch chasing him down like a swarm of angry bees, the only question was - could he hold on?

The thread title is wrong - this year it's the Giro di Polonia!
I do not ride a great big Mercian, gangster tanwalls, fixed cog in the back.

What a great win.  It looked a bit dangerous for the bunch at the end, there - very narrow.

Thanks for posting Bobbers. Had sweaty palms watching that, and I don't need it on such a humid day as this.
Certainly never seen cycling south of Sussex

What was Bradders' original plan in this little jaunt? To stand on the podium at the end or to get some race miles in his legs before the TT WCs ? I hope it wasn't the former.
