Just been made aware of this event taking place in the half term holidays. It looks good and I'm hoping to take the opportunity to have a look at the new Derby velodrome:

Always fancied sitting in a big truck too so win win all round I'd say.

What is safety marking or is this a reference to post code stamping? I have visions of yellow stickers warning me of exposed moving parts.

If it's like the ones Cumbria Police did for us at work then it's UV marking of a postcode on the top tube and a yellow sticker on the seat tube stating that the bike is traceable (and with a reference code)
