Not really camping but I couldn't think where else to put it!

I stayed here for 3 nights over last weekend.  It's a privately run hotel in a backstreet near Place St Catherine.

It's run by Guy & Edward who are both friendly, helpful and speak excellent English.

My room was €79 (£59) per night , this was for an en suite double.    Entry was a bit odd, you go in via the small bathroom (shower only) and then through another door into the room itself.  A comfy bed, chest of drawers, rack to hang clothes (no wardrobe) , wall mounted TV, phone, desk & chair.  Window looked into a small courtyard.  Very clean.

No traffic noise, but the plumbing rattled a bit!

Breakfast was orange juice, coffee & a plate of bread & pastries.

I didn't have a bike with me, but they say they have storage space.

It's a 30-40 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Midi or you can get the Metro.  There is a stop a few minutes away.

(Take line 3 (Esplanade) or line 4 (Gare du Nord) to De Brouckère - 4 stops.

At De Brouckère change to line 1 (Gare de l'Ouest) or line 5 (Erasme) to Sainrte-Catherine - 1 stop.)

Recommended for a decent place to stay in Brussels.
