Toilets would probably be very welcome - am assuming we'll be loitering around for some hours waiting for anything to happen...

The clumps look like the smart place to go.  It's a little further away, but loos + space + the possibility of food = A Good Thing.

No guarantee of loos at Wittenham.  They have a visitor centre that sounds like it will have some, but no idea what's going to be open.

DIDCOT, HERE I COME!

This post makes me unaccountably happy and sums up much of what I love about YACF.

Hurrah for sillybikeadventures  :D

Meanwhile, for those who can't make it to Didcot, the demolition company will be live streaming it on the interwebs:

Struggled yesterday cycling down from Brum, so decided discretion was the better part of valour and have gone for the train assist option today, popping my Didcot cherry a little earlier than planned as a result.

Now sat eating my sarnies outside the ladies loos at Didcot Parkway: it's everything I hoped it would be...

The dynamite is going off at 4am :o  So the molishers can clean the area of any debris.

I don't see any mention of a 4am detonation time in that article, just the 3-5am window that's be quoted all along?

Ver' ver' tempted to cycle out at silly-o-clock, watch things go boom, say hello to forumites and cycle home again.

Clumps at 3am?

Camp YACF is established, and midges are in attendance. We foolishly neglected to bring FIRE.

Barakta's airbed suffered a visitation at some point. Leak is too slow to locate without a bathtub. Suspect that this morning's mission will be a trip to Go Outdoors.

Don't forget the Decathlon in Oxford as well?

There's a Go Outdoors in Oxford, very close to the Park & Ride on the south side, and even closer to the C & CC campsite.
