I've been on Warmshowers for a couple of years and I've never had a request until today. They want to spend tomorrow night with us in Southend.

Unfortunately, this is one of the rare occasions that we have nowhere for them to sleep. We have just spent a good long time tidying up the house and shifting clutter around so that we can entertain on 27th. We are off to my brother's on 26th. It's a shame. Any other time I'd have said yes, but we just can't manage it.

I have been a member of Warmshowers for Nine years now ! As a host and as a guest I have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences . It is a fantastic organisation , happily recommend membership to all cyclists .

They send a message on Christmas Eve, asking to stay on Christmas Day?  They won't exactly be surprised if people have other plans!
