Nice. I rather like the Spesh hybrids. They seem sensible and pretty well thought out. And they don't have stupid names. (Giant Avail, I'm looking at you >:( )

We did have a bit of giggle at some of the ridiculous names the MAN BIKES had been anointed with. Marauder and such like.  ::-)

The MAN Giant is the Defy ::-)

You should look at the children's bike names. Flower, Glitter,Glitz, Butterfly and Rage, Havoc, Stun and Venom

How do you think our steeds should more accurately be branded?

I'm thinking I'd start a range with these three:

The Pedant
The Wheezy
and The Bodger

I think my three bikes would be:

"The Packhorse" Hewitt Cheviot SE
"The Commuter" British Eagle Touristique fixed conversion

and unfortunately the "Arse I'm not fit enough to deserve to ride this one" Van Nic Yukon.  :-[

Is that the one that's not quite as light as the Pinarello Dentist but not quite as aero as the Pinarello Wanker?

The Girl has a Pinnacle (Evans own brand) Willow.

The Girl was a Buffy fan back in the day.

"Ooh" I said. "Why have they named a bike after a lesbian witch?"

Back in the days when I worked for ovloV, OE tyres were Pirelli P6000 which were known as 'Ditchfinders'...

I know, I know. I've looked it up in three different dictionaries and I simply cannot see how the word can apply to an inanimate object.
