Where is that, looks like a road we have ridden?
Yup, you're right and I wondered if you'd pitch up in this thread - you were helpful to me with a bit of advice ages ago. Unfortunately I took that advice and did, in fact, go to Patagonia. That pic is heading south on the Carretera Austral, south of Puerto Yungay on the way to Villa O'Higgins.

You will no doubt recall that the cycling was ghastly, the people wonderful and the trip utterly magnificent. I didn't go into Argie, turned at O'Higgins.
Besides, it wouldn't be audacious if success were guaranteed.

I was wondering if it was the road out of O'Higgins. Glad you did it and enjoyed your ride :)

Dear Mods, happy to see these erased if tey fail the standards, here's another try:

Heh! No Mods deleting substandard contributions here; just a set of ludicrous rules constraints to exercise your creativity against.

Looks like you had a lot of rough on that trip - nice rocks, though!

Time to get this going again...

In addition to your cycle, photos must depict at least three of the eight elements listed...

... between 1 and 3 planes
... a variety of elevation
... variable vegetation
... lights
... trees or rocks that focus the attention
... animal presence
... roughness
... a harmonious sunset

Variety of elevation (I got some strange looks after experimenting with throwing my camera in the air and then scrobbling around in the grass!)
Variable vegetation (plum chutney picked up from a roadside stall en route)
Animal presence (ALLIGATOR TEETH!)

Does this qualify?

Vertical and horizontal planes
Variegated vegetation (grass, buttercups, trees)
Trees focussing attention

You might have better luck over on the Fully Loaded thread: https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=61057.700

This one's a bit more tongue-in-cheek and ridiculously ruled:

As a parallel gallery to Fully Loaded - Touring Bikes thread, and in consultation with William Gilpin, the UMCA have released the guidelines for picturesque photos of our own touring/camping setups:

In accordance with the above guidelines, YACF announces that it will certify attempts for Fully Picturesque photos of touring bikes per the rules below.

In addition to your cycle, photos must depict at least three of the eight elements listed...

... between 1 and 3 planes
... a variety of elevation
... variable vegetation
... lights
... trees or rocks that focus the attention
... animal presence
... roughness
... a harmonious sunset

...but feel free to encourage folks to post here more often too  ;D
