Small chip in LCD screen
« on: 31 July, 2015, 10:17:03 am »
I recently bought a Sony RX100 as a "holiday camera" instead of lugging the A77 and pile of lenses around when something simpler would serve well.  However, I have managed to put a tiny chip in the LCD view screen (which appears to be made of cheese).  It doesn't affect its function, but is visible.  I ordered a screen protector the day I got the camera, but it arrived the day I had already left for France, so was not fitted (its sitting here waiting for me to do it now).

So, do the assembled camera wizards of YACF think there is anything I could do to lessen the effect of this small but comparatively deep chip before I fit the screen protector, as I'm a little concerned that the chip may show through said protector?
