Could do with putting the start time on that page too.

I'd love to do this ride, it looks like a lovely route, but other stuff precludes me this year. Fond memories of the Peak District from the Midlander Super Grimpeur.

I was hoping to ride this, but a friend has inconveniently booked a wedding in Wales that weekend so I can no longer make it, which is a great shame indeed as it:

a) looks like a wonderful route,
b) is pretty much on my doorstep

Bit drastic, couldn't they just postpone it?

I know the feeling,  few years ago a friend did the same and I had to miss the Brevet Cymru 400.

Yes, it looks fantastic. I've had this one marked down in my calendar since the begining of the year. Still negotiating with the family to get a pass though (involves them travelling to a different part of the country by train...).

looks great, was going to be my consolation for missing out on ride London, but I got a place this year, so can't make it.

I'm in. Everyone whose wedding I would attend has already had one. And I'm not the marrying kind so I'm safe from attending my own.

2016 is clearly the year to get wed! Seriously considering doing this (the ride, not the Wedding bit!) - just need to know how I feel after my first (and second!) 300 this spring before making the leap. Could you let us know when it's getting close to full, ta

Have you ridden a 200 and still had some time in hand at the finish?  If yes, you'll be OK on this 400.  You'll be well looked after, with food at (I think it's) 7 of the controls (that's not counting the start and finish) and somewhere for a lie down at 3 of them.  You have 26 hours, so you can afford to take your time.

Getting married is the only acceptable excuse for giving this a miss.

I did my first 400 (the National form Ingleby Barwick) after 6 weeks of Audax riding (2 x 100 2 x 200) I was lanterne rouge but completed within time limits.  Tis was much helped by the lovely support at controls

My eyes!  :hand:

Better now?
I didnt see it before, but its fine now. Very readable colours.

Its very "busy", but then it contains a LOT of info, so that's fine IMO.

Looks really tempting, but having waited 4 years to get a Ride 100 place (31st July) I'm going to have to miss out
