Building a Hybrid.
« on: September 05, 2016, 04:48:22 pm »

I have most of the parts needed for the above build, some new and others used but in good condition.
However I have to buy new wheels, within the budget range are Shimano RS10 and Mavic Aksium.
They are similar price ....any recommendations as to the better wheel ?
That is construction and best at "rolling"
  Thank you all in advance.

No answer from knowledgeable folks?

Something to do with snobbery about the dreaded "hybrid" word?

Sadly I've nothing useful to contribute, as I don't know much about off the shelf wheels.

It would probably help if you:

a) Posted in The Knowledge (many people navigate the forum by board, and won't be regular visitors to the Reviews Database).  Perhaps you can move the thread there?  There should be a "MOVE TOPIC" button at the bottom left of the page.

b) Used a subject line that indicated it was a wheel question, rather than a hybrid question.  That's more likely to attract people with wheel knowledge, even if they aren't interested in hybrids.
To ride the Windcheetah, first, you must embrace the cantilever...
