Drinks meeting in Wimbledon to discuss the road to PBP or any other audax rides. All those interested in chatting about PBP or audax cycling welcome to attend.

Yes its handy for Wimbledon trains and tubes.

Richard Evans and myself will be wearing AUK caps (or a Bob Marley wig

It was a good turnout for midweek, and great to meet some new folks , as well as chat with some familiar faces.

Richard suggested a repeat evening sometime before the spring rides start in earnest.

Yes, thanks again for organising. Particular thanks to Salvatore for sharing his extensive experience. Before the evening I was getting cold feet re PBP as it seemed to be turning into a major logistical / planning exercise, but I can see there is another way!

as you can see from the pub website photo there is plenty of good secure bike parking outside. And there are usually plenty of real ales on tap at good prices... so all we need really for a serious training session
