Etrex Track-View-Go

When you view a saved track on the map using Track Manager/View Map, the Etrex30 displays a "Go" option action button along the bottom of the map. What exactly do you get if you accept the option to "Go"?

It seems to populate the track with HighPoint and LowPoint waypoints (not much good for Holland) which it has created and chosen itself and then shows "distance to next" and "time to next" information if these fields are enabled, but I didn't seem any routing instructions - I know, it's not a route :).

There doesn't seem to be much added benefit over simply visually following the pretty blue line on the map.  Have I missed something?

I am using the CityNavigator Europe maps.
