Grease guns
« on: 25 July, 2024, 02:20:03 pm »
I have the Park Tool GG-1 grease gun (not the toothpaste tube type) - and it's great, BUT the capacity is quite small as I use it a lot . . . servicing sometimes 2 or 3 bikes a week - it needs refilling from the tub of Park's grease frequently which is a bit of a PITA.

Does anyone know of a larger capacity, similar trigger/push button gun that dispenses through a fine nozzle like the Park one?    Searching finds loads of guns but they all seem to want to engage with a grease nipple rather than a nozzle.

You could consider using a full size grease gun and a needle adaptor. I use a rather mature Wanner gun (plus a spare with different grease in it) with a Sealey AK447 adaptor.

The Wanner guns are the only ones I have seen with a chain for tension release rather than a rod poking out of the back of the gun.
