Where have the Condensation Trails Gone?
« on: 12 August, 2023, 02:21:19 am »
Before COVID we used to get loads of con-trails over York, especially this time of year. Of course they stopped during the pandemic, but they don’t seem to have come back.

Yesterday there was a clear blue sky and not a single trail, except one far to the south, almost on the horizon and left by a very fast aircraft.

Where have they gone?

They still exist but their absence suggests low atmospheric humidity.

I read a recent article on the use of computer simulations to plan aircraft routes to minimise contrail formation.
Darned if I can find it this morning....  IIRC this was a recent news item on hpcwire.com

The Illuminati have started using an additive to disguise them, so you don't know you're being sprayed.  Or 5G re-vaporises them.  Or there is a shortage of mind control drugs.

It took over a hundred years from the start of aviation to come up with covid. The trails have done their job and the next plandemic will come from underground – the Channel Tunnel was a practice, but once HS2 is complete, it's out.

Yesterday evening I saw a giant screwdriver (Wera brand) floating in the sky, and later a bright blue goose with two heads. These things exist but are only revealed to the enlightened.

That is a CONtrail filter, Cudzo.
It is simpler than it looks.

Possibly one of the few benefits of climate change.  10 years back it was impossible to take a landscape photo without airline graffiti.

They’ve finally started to use see-through chemicals in the chemtrails.

No, it's the chemicals have finally taken effect on your visual cortex. They're still there in the sky, you just think you can't see them.

You are the winner:

AI helps airline pilots avoid areas that create polluting contrails
Experiment by Google and American Airlines reduces vapour trails, which are a source of global heating

Yesterday on a sunny afternoon not a single con-trail appeared.

Quote
The experiment found that flights needed to burn 2% more fuel to avoid the contrails. However, Google said that the total increase in fuel burn across all of an airline’s flights could be limited to 0.3% because the majority of contrails are caused by a small proportion of flights.
The cost of avoiding the contrails could be between $5 (£3.90) and $25 per tonne of CO₂ equivalent, said Google. That could make it competitive with other forms of reduction in heating effects.

An IPCC report, published last year, said that contrail avoidance could take “up to a decade to mature”, but the Google experiment suggests the technology could be ready earlier than that.

About 35 km SW of Heathrow, but I don't these were going to/from Heathrow.

35 km is probably too close to the world’s 8th busiest airport for AI to have a chance.
