Two lemon & chilli giant tiger prawns on a bed of saffron rice. These fookers were huuuuuge, almost the size of the plate!

Chicken casseroley thing, done in the pressure cooker.

Onion, garlic, chopped and fried.
Chicken legs browned.
Tin (box actually) of toms
Half a swede found languishing in the fridge. Cut into big chunks.
Carrots
Spuds, sliced thick.
Splash of water.

Bring to boil, cook at maximum bongo pressure for 10 minutes. Cool under tap, eat.
Job done.

I heart pressure cookers.

Chocolate perhaps.

Seriously though, pasta with home made sauce and a salad.  Followed by a healing smoothie.

Having just chomped my way through an entire tray of mixed melon chunks and grapes from Tesco, I'm not sure I need any dinner as I'm stuffed!

Probably be starving in half an hour though.

Home made bean and pulse curry, with steamed brown basmati rice.

I haven't made a curry in ages so I hope it's OK.

Roast duck.  The wild sort, not the fat filled kind.  I shall report back later.

Chicken dansak - made properly from scratch, not out of a jar or packet, using the recipe from Anjum Anand's latest book, which I got for Christmas. It's leftovers from the big pot I made at the weekend and it's really bloody lovely - and should be even better after maturing for a few days.

Probably Wensleydale & mushroom burgers with baked sweet potato and baked beans. And brown sauce.

Tonight will be pan-fried melange of mushrooms with garlic, on toasted olive bread, with poached eggs on top.

I wish Mr R would hurry up and get home...

Tonight is Moroccan chicken, with apricots and sultanas, together with cous cous...

It's in the oven now and the smell is driving me crazy!
