I've been wandering around the park trying to find anything singing that wasn't a robin. Those little buggers sing all winter long. I heard a wren making quite a lot of noise, and the great tits are going at it in their tedious tuneless way, and I heard a dunnock, but the real songsters, the blackbirds, are still in silent winter mode.
I'm hoping to hear a song thrush or two. I photographed one in the park a couple of weeks ago but there aren't many about.
