The compasses lot go out Saturday mornings meet at the pub at 10. Also we have a GW led ride at 1pm, you are welcome to come, it won't be very taxing, just a steady ride to the Wilkins tea room at Writtle and back.

What time will you be at the tea room?

Also a good idea but I don't want to be out all day.

Two things ...

1. Did anyone go out last night?
2. I shall be outside The Compasses at 10am this Saturday if anyone fancies joining me.  I am not completely convinced these rides are still going on (Joss thinks they are  ::-) ).  If no-one turns up I shall cycle on alone  :'( possibly to The Blue Egg at Great Bardfield

Excellent, perhaps they can be persuaded to ride out to The Blue Egg.

There's a standing joke, cos that's where Mrs b suggests every week and they haven't been yet. She is bouyed with your suggestion.

Yep, thats the plan, don't think it'll be a big group this month. Should be there about two. If there are no takers then I won't go, but I've got two definates at the moment.

*** FORWARD PLANNING ALERT *** *** FORWARD PLANNING ALERT *** *** FORWARD PLANNING ALERT *** *** FORWARD PLANNING ALERT ***

This coming Wednesday evening will hopefully see me making my first attempt to ride home from London.  The Old Git has kindly offered to accompany me from the outskirts of London to Writtle where Huggy will kindly take over.  At the moment I will be alone on the London leg  :o

Is there any chance this coming week's MEMWNS ride could choose The Wheatsheaf in Writtle as it's destination?  I shall not be staying long but it would be nice to say "hello" and sup a pint with you all.

The Witham MEMWNS peloton of 1 (:o) will be leaving between 7 and 7:30 then and following something like this.
